The Graduate Institute Geneva virtually inaugurates the Grand Morillon Student Residence, designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
After opening remarks by Rolf Soiron, President of the Foundation Board, and Marie-Laure Salles, Director, a 15-minute film will be played, including:
• Philippe Burrin, former Director, Graduate Institute
• Kengo Kuma, Japanese architect
• Pierre Guth, Director of Construction
Situated on a hillside, Grand Morillon Student Residence is located near the International Labour Organization and United Nations Geneva headquarters. The residence features a variety of common spaces, including three rooftops, one of which offers magnificent views of Lake Geneva, Mont Blanc and Jura mountains.The Grand Morillon Student Residence has 678 beds, which will be primarily reserved for students of the Graduate Institute.
